A Message to Our Community

At flexEngage, we stand for equality. We condemn all forms of racism, prejudice and bigotry in our society. We do not condone any act of violence in our society.
While the recents events in our community and nation have left us saddened by the long over-due inaction of our leaders to break the systemic oppression of the black community, we hold ourselves accountable to be part of the change. As an Orlando-based business, these are our neighbors, our friends, our co-workers, and our family that are facing oppression – and we cannot stand for that. There is no room for hate in our company, nor our Country. We are encouraged by the amount of resilience emerging in our society in the wake of the recent atrocities and stand beside these resilient individuals. As a community, we can no longer be passive. This is an urgent matter and we need to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
As we look forward, we need to call out oppression and racism when we see it. And we must use our individual platforms to fight for the liberty, life and freedoms of every individual. May we never forget these recent events and continuously march forward demanding change.
As a part of our efforts to ensure a better tomorrow, we are contributing to Black Girls Code, an organization aiming to empower young women of color to become innovators in STEM fields. They aim to provide African-American youth with the skills to occupy some of the 1.4 million computing job openings expected to be available in the U.S. by 2020, and to train 1 million girls by 2040.
