flexEngage’s resident tech specialist, John Arevalo has recently rose through the ranks to become our tech support lead. 

Why did you decide to join flexEngage?

I love the startup world. I was looking for a company with the ambition and drive to cause changes in their industry. flexEngage definitely checked off those boxes for me.

What are you most excited about at flexEngage?

I’m excited to see how the company will continue to grow and evolve. It’s changed so much since I started here in 2019. When I applied, the company was still called flexReceipts!

Can you give us a run-down of your previous experience?

I’ve spent most of my career so far in customer support roles – I’ve really enjoyed becoming the go-to guy / subject matter expert at each of my stops. 

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

I like to lift weights, travel, and play video games. 

What’s a random fact/talent about yourself?

I love music – One year I made it to over 50 concerts and festivals. I used to play the Bassoon in Concert Band, and had the chance to play at Carnegie Hall.
